Expanding the existing cottages at the Karle Homestay, this project integrates sustainability and local craftsmanship into every detail. Inspired by the richness of the soil found on-site, rammed earth construction has been chosen for its durability and eco-friendliness.
The design seamlessly blends open, closed, and semi-open spaces, creating a harmonious connection with nature. Each cottage is a sanctuary, offering guests a serene retreat amidst the lush surroundings.
Nestled amidst a coconut plantation, this weekend retreat offers a serene escape from urban chaos. Situated within a gated community in Devanahalli, just outside Bengaluru, the house is constructed primarily with compressed earth bricks, adorned with lime plasters and natural stone finishes. Featuring bay windows, courtyard seating, and built-in day beds, it fosters a tranquil atmosphere, encouraging a leisurely pace of living.
Step into a new chapter of sustainable living with our minimalist small house, crafted with monolithic poured earthen walls, designed for clients who have embraced a transformative shift in priorities, transitioning from IT professionals in Bangalore to agrarians committed to a sustainable lifestyle.
In an attempt to focus on using natural colors and keeping the overall design contemporary, this home is a reminder of the beauty in simplicity.
